Scope and Contents Thomas Hog was a noted Covenanter (see 'The Oxford Dictionary of National Biography'). The dates of the sermons, where specified, cover the period 1659-1673; in some cases the place of delivery is given. At folio vii verso is some account of Hog, taken from Robert Wodrow, ‘History’ (Edinburgh, 1722-1723), volume i, page 41.
